Season 2 is in Production!

It’s been over a year since we posted an update here. We’re alive and kickin’, especially on Tumblr, and we’re working on doing our first shoot for Season 2 in just over a week. Exciting times.

It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly 2 years since we finished TWSS1. We’re so thankful to everyone for sending us encouragement all this time– you’ve really helped keep us motivated for TWSS2. There have been life shifts, moving, and many changes, but we’re each still committed to continuing to tell these stories together.

And, as usual, part of kicking off production involved a photo shoot. More photos coming soon!

Hello there.

It’s been quiet around here, we know. Pearl Girls Productions has been working on a documentary project which you’ll certainly hear about, and, as always, there’s a lot going on outside of TWSSland. People getting degrees, publishing novels, preparing art exhibits, planning events… but we definitely have not forgotten about TWSS!

We have great news– Season 2 of That’s What She Said has fiscal sponsorship from Visual Communications, which means we’ll be eligible to apply for grants! And future donations ($25 and up) will be tax-deductible!

We’re going to start working on TWSS2 later this year. Thanks to everyone who still checks in on us from wherever you are in this big ol’ world, and thanks to those friends who continue to ask and remind us about Season 2. We’ll post more goodies here eventually! In the meantime, mosey on over to Formspring, Twitter, and Facebook to play with us.

TWSS2 Is Happening

If you noticed on our Season Finale & Fundraiser flyer something about a Season 2– yes! We never officially announced it, but we (Anni, N., Vicky, Allison, Claire, & myself) talked it over weeks and weeks ago and decided that we wanted to keep going with the stories of Nic, Baby, Leslie, Rae, Shin, and their friends & lovers.

The party at The Dolphin Bar (40-year-old gay bar where the “Wet Pussy” cocktail was birthed, allegedly) is both a celebration of completing our first season and a fundraiser to help us make Season 2 a reality. We also started a ChipIn account so that anyone can contribute, wherever you are.

It’s hard to believe we’ve come this far and we’re so thankful to everyone who has been watching (including those of you who are our friends and/or are in it)!
